SWISH Sponsors NSU Architecture Alumni Festival ‘Archi করি 2026’ to Inspire the Future of Architecture and Design in Bangladesh

Dhaka, Bangladesh | 06 August 2026 — Reinforcing its commitment to innovation, design excellence, and the future of architecture in Bangladesh, SWISH, the luxury lifestyle brand renowned for Bathware, Kitchenware, and Tilesware, proudly partnered with North South University for Archi করি 2026 — the first-ever Architecture Alumni Festival organised by the North South University Architecture Alumni Association (NSUAAA).

Held from 30 July to 4 August 2026 at North South University (NSU), the landmark festival united architecture alumni, current students, faculty members, leading architects, researchers, designers, and industry professionals under one platform to celebrate creativity, professional achievement, and collaborative learning.

As the title sponsor of this pioneering initiative, SWISH reaffirmed its long-standing vision of supporting the country’s architectural ecosystem by encouraging meaningful dialogue between academia and industry while promoting innovation in contemporary design and construction.

The festival was inaugurated on 30 July at North South University, in the presence of Mr Zakaria Taher Sumon, Honourable Minister for Housing and Public Works, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, who attended as the Chief Guest. The inauguration was further honoured by distinguished personalities, including Mr Benjir Ahmed, Member and Former Chairman of the North South University Board of Trustees; Professor Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, Vice-Chancellor of North South University; Ar. Md. Asifur Rahman Bhuiyan, Chief Architect, Department of Architecture, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh; Dr Md. Maruf Hossain, Education Secretary, Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB); Ar. Shahriar Iqbal Raj, Chair of the Department of Architecture, NSU; and Mr J. M. Hasanuzzaman, President of NSUAAA.

In his conversation with the distinguished guests, he expressed how deeply proud he is of SWISH and the journey the brand continues to build.

Throughout the festival, participants explored an extensive exhibition showcasing architectural projects, research initiatives, interior design concepts, photography, and creative installations developed by NSU’s Department of Architecture and its alumni. The event also featured technical workshops, alumni lectures, panel discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions that encouraged collaboration between experienced professionals and the next generation of architects.

By partnering with North South University, SWISH demonstrated its dedication to nurturing platforms where ideas evolve into meaningful architectural solutions.
