Chattogram, Bangladesh — 22 August 2026: SWISH participated in the first-ever Chattogram Build Expo 2026, held from 20–22 August at Radisson Blu Chattogram Bay View, bringing its design philosophy and lifestyle solutions to a 3-day gathering of Bangladesh’s architecture, construction, real estate and infrastructure communities.
Organised for the first time in Chattogram by the Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB), Chattogram Chapter, the exhibition brought together 30 companies from Dhaka and Chattogram, alongside architects, engineers, construction professionals, businesses, policymakers and other industry stakeholders.
At Exhibition Stalls PA-06 & PA-07, SWISH brought its “Luxury Speaks in Design” philosophy to life through a curated showcase of bathware, kitchenware and tileware solutions, where thoughtful materials, proportions, lighting, functionality and spatial composition demonstrated how considered design can transform everyday spaces.
Engineer Belayet Hossain, Chairman of the Chattogram Development Authority (CDA), inaugurated the expo on 20 August 2026.
The event commenced with a welcome speech by Ar. Fazle Imran Chowdhury, Chairman of IAB Chattogram Chapter, followed by remarks from Special Guest Ar. Dr Masud Ur Rashid, General Secretary of IAB.
Architect Md. Mizanur Rahman, Convener of Chattogram Build Expo 2026, highlighted the event’s role in bringing professionals and industry stakeholders together while showcasing emerging opportunities, innovations and technologies across architecture, construction, real estate and infrastructure.
The first-ever Chattogram Build Expo concluded on 22 August 2026, reinforcing the same theme with which the event began: the future of a rapidly developing Chattogram will require closer collaboration between government, architects, engineers, businesses and other stakeholders.
Mir Mohammad Helal Uddin, State Minister for the Ministry of Land and the Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs, attended the closing ceremony as Chief Guest.
Mohammad Amirul Haque, President of the Chattogram Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), and Architect Abu Sayeed M. Ahmed, President of the Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB), attended as Special Guests.
For SWISH, being part of the inaugural edition represented another step toward bringing refined design, purposeful functionality and luxury lifestyle solutions closer to the professionals and communities shaping Bangladesh’s built environment.
